親愛的IDEC夥伴：

誠摯邀請您至苗栗卓蘭，參訪已座落與山腰上29年的民主學校——全人實驗中學。本旅行提供兩晚住宿，讓您深入理解並體驗全人的教育理念及其如何實踐在其課程與生活之中。

這幾日，我們將對於民主學校當中，學生自治領域、學生學習領域、戶外探索領域、住宿學校生活等面向，提供討論與認識的空間。

全人誕生於一個夢想，一個追求理想教育的夢想；我們塑造了一個自由和包容的環境、鼓勵學生大膽嘗試錯誤，透過自發性的行動去發展自己的個性和潛能。我們的目標是培養一個「啟蒙」的公民與具有「審美品味」的自由人。

全人把「追求自由」做為教育目標。為了追求自由，全人顛覆傳統學校裡的師生關係，改變了學生的學習方式，建立了學生自治的機制。同時，全人是民主學校當中少見的住宿學校，因著學生們密切於校園相處的原因，住宿生活也為學生自治機制帶來了許多新的碰撞與思考。

而全人整體的學習機制都指向一個目標：引發孩子的主動性和自發性（initiative and spontaneity）。這是做為一個人最可貴的特質，也是人性尊嚴的基礎。包含每年重要的攀登秋季大山，以及戶外探索行程，也全程由學生們規劃與執行。

Holistic School Trip

An Invitation to Visit Holistic Education School in Miaoli Zhuolan,

We invite everyone to join us in Miaoli Zhuolan to visit the Holistic Education School, which has been founded on the mountainside for the past 29 years. Experience the educational philosophy of holistic development and how it is applied in our curriculum and daily lives through a two-night stay on campus. We will be focusing on discussing various aspects of our democratic school, including student autonomy, residential school life, school environments, and outdoor exploration.

The Holistic Education School was born from a dream, a dream of pursuing an ideal education. We have created a free and inclusive environment, encouraging students to bravely experiment and learn from mistakes, fostering their personalities and potential through spontaneous actions. Our goal is to cultivate enlightened citizens with a refined aesthetic taste.

The pursuit of freedom is the educational objective of our school. In pursuit of freedom, we overturn the traditional teacher-student relationship, alter the way students learn, and establish mechanisms for student autonomy. Additionally, Holistic Education School is a rare residential school within the realm of democratic education. Due to the close proximity of students on campus, residential life brings numerous new collisions and reflections within the student autonomy mechanism.

Overall, the learning mechanism at our school is aimed towards one goal: to inspire children's initiative and spontaneity. We believe this is the most valuable quality of a human being and the foundation of human dignity. This includes our annual mountain hiking during autumn and outdoor exploration trips are both planned and executed entirely by the students.
